As experience and qualifications are gained, fitness trainers usually earn up to £25,000 per year. The salaries are even larger for specialist or personal trainers. Self employed trainers usually earn up to £15-£25 per hour, with some trainers even earning £50 per hour.

In India, trainers usually earn in the range of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,240,000 per month if they are established trainers.

Fitness trainers usually work in good conditions, spending their time between the gym and office. They work in comfortable environments however; they may sometimes be required to exercise along with their clients outdoors, even when the weather is bad.

Which Downsides are there in this career?
There are many qualifications that are required before an individual can become a certified trainer, and this process is very costly and time consuming. Also, at the beginning of a fitness trainer’s career, he must expect to start off very small and earn a very low salary until he/she is well established.

Another downside is that sometimes fitness trainers will be required to work alongside the clients outdoors even if the weather is bad. Fitness trainers must also control their diets and make sure that they maintain their health for the sake of their job.
How is Competition?
The fitness training industry is expected to grow by 27% until 2016 and thus it is expected that there will be many jobs available in this field. Also because of the growing amount of obesity in adults as well as children today, this industry is expected to grow.

Another factor to consider is that the more qualifications that a
